Joint Fuel Committee Meeting ALTA/IATA
When: September 15-16, 2022
Where: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
The next meeting of the group will be held in September 2022. After discussions with the attendees at the Mexico City meeting in February, we have decided to host the meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, September 15 -16. The meeting will be mostly in English, but simultaneous translation will be available in Spanish and Portuguese.
We will follow the traditional format of an airlines only meeting on day 1, and a wider meeting with fuel suppliers and service providers on day 2; On the first day in the morning we will share the agenda with our ALTA Aviation Law Americas that will take place concurrently.
We will distribute a detailed agenda and venue information timely. This is the time to mark your calendars.

About Fuel Committee
Established in 2004, the ALTA/IATA Fuel Committee identifies and develops synergies between airport operators, fuel suppliers, governments and airlines. In addition, it promotes dialogues and best practices to ensure greater transparency, free access, consistency and predictability in jet fuel prices in the region; and an adequate, safe and quality provisioning; as well as the establishment of more competitive rates and an efficient infrastructure to develop Latin American and Caribbean markets. The Committee strives to ensure that current rates and charges are in accordance with industry policies dictated by ICAO.
